The symbol in the Windows® task tray |

The 7-Backup symbol will appear in the Windows® task tray as soon as you have set up at least one automatic data backup. This makes sense because 7-Backup will now perform backups in the background as soon as it is time to do so:
You can open or quit 7-Backup by right clicking on the symbol, thus disabling the automatic data backup. The symbol will only reappear when you launch 7-Backup and resave any data backup you have scheduled. In only one single case does the symbol disappear once more from the task tray after the backup, namely if you have only set up one single scheduled data backup and where this has been configured to "after logon". There is then no further reason for 7-Backupto continue to be active in the background on your computer. |
