You can apply settings that apply only for one specific task. To do so, click on the "Settings" button of the main window in professional mode.

| • | Execute script
Capture a batch or Java script, or another executable file (Exe) to perform special operations before or after the backup (only for experienced PC users). |
| • | Check the archive bit for selecting the files to be backed up
Uses the archive bit to assist in selecting the source files (look in "The archive bit") |
| • | Delete target
Deletes the folder on the target medium.
Attention: With media such CD, DVD, Blu-Ray or tape (tape drives), the entire medium is deleted. |
| • | Send log
Send yourself a backup log via e-mail. If the e-mail does not arrive, check the e-mail options in Options under the "logging" tab. Sometimes you have to specify an SMTP server for the send to be successful. |
| • | Print log
Prints the backup log. |
| • | Delete log file
Deletes the log file upon conclusion in order to free up space. |
| • | Remove deleted files on the backup medium as well
In other programs this is called synchronization: Enabling this function aligns the status of the destination with that of the source. Files deleted on the source are also deleted on the target. |
| • | Check backup
Checks the backup last made for any errors. Any errors that occur are reported (in the log and/or on screen). |
