In professional mode, you can add elements for the backup.

You can acquire not just folders as a source but also specify templates for selecting files for the backup. To back up all Word documents in their own files, under Source write :

C:\Eigene Dateien\*.doc (own files)for example.

Make historized file backups
Enables historization for the entire path.
Encrypt files
Encrypts the backed up files with a password. You can specify the password in Options under "encryption". If you have not yet specified the password in Options, the program will prompt you for a password when you make the first backup. Files backed up in this way are packed into ZIP format on the backup but these ZIP files cannot be opened with the usual ZIP unpackers as they are unable to decrypt the data! You always have to restore encrypted data using the restore wizard .
Zipping files
Compresses files on the backup using the ZIP default format.
Creating an entire folder structure
For drive C:\ for example a folder "C$" is created on the backup. You can enable or disable this here. Once you have removed this check mark, the "Clean up" function is no longer capable of removing the already deleted files on the backup. The restore wizard can no longer restore to the original location as the original source is no longer visible anywhere.
